Hi,
I'm new to this site. My daughter is 16, and is severely uneven, like "A" on the left "C" on the right. She is perfectly normal and healthy, happy, active in school and the community, color guard, theater, gets great grades, well adjusted, and anyone would be happy to have her as a child. The only thing that bothers her, and she is terribly unhappy about is her breasts. She kept it a secret even from me for as long as she could.
I did some research and apparently this is "normal", and she will catch up by the time she's 21. I took her to a gyn, she wanted a female, who proved to want to do little more than promote that HPV vaccine, and recommend a surgeon.
I am curious if anyone here knows or thinks that the pill will work, or help. Is there something more I should be looking for? I have finally convinced her she needs to see my guy, who is the BEST gyn ever, but am wondering if I should maybe take her to a growth specialist or something.
She has been removing the padding from one side of the bra and filling the other. I am a very large breasted woman, and I grew almost completely overnight by the time I was 14, so I understand the trauma breast size can cause. I became very good at hiding my size very early on. I'm uneven also, but the size alone makes it nearly indiscernable.
Should we just wait it out? - There is NO WAY I will get her an implant at this age, I'm not even sure if they come in singles. Any advice is welcome. How normal is this? The girl reads every single teen mag there is and NOT ONE ever mentions this. IS it really that taboo?
I appreciate the help.
Thanks
